The main difference between a pre-built shed and a shed kit is that a pre-built shed is built in our facility and delivered to you fully assembled
and ready to go. All you need to do is make sure site preparation
is taken care of. We will need to access the site with a pickup truck towing a trailer and will install the shed on your prepared site.
Our kits on the other hand, are pre-cut and include all the parts you'll need to fully assemble the shed on your site except the fasteners
. These kits are the SAME sheds you can buy pre-built directly from Fox Country Sheds. There is no difference except for the way they are delivered!
All shed kits include instructions with photos as well as a video CD to assure that assembly is as easy and efficient as possible for you. You will also receive a detailed list of the type/size of fasteners you will need to build your kit. If for any reason you have a question regarding assembly, call us at 717-626-9560
and one of our professionals will be able to walk you through the construction process.
Within 24 hours after the order is placed, we will contact you, verify the order, and give you the exact date your product will be assembled and shipped. Our shed kits are delivered as pallets and a lift gate truck will deliver the shed kit on your drive way or an accessible area that you choose. Each shed kit is either CRATED or packaged with weather proofing material to assure that your shed kit is delivered free of any damages. If for any reason your shed kit is damaged during shipping, call us immediately and we will ship you a new part at no additional cost to you.
Customer service is our top priority at Fox Country Sheds. We want to make your buying experience with us as enjoyable as possible.
Why Buy a Shed Kit?
As you'll see in our site preparation and delivery guidelines, our trucks need to have easy access to your property in order to deliver and install the shed on your site. This is just not possible in some areas where the terrain is rough or the landscape is covered with thick trees or other barriers.
Under these circumstances, we recommend getting a shed kit and either assembling the shed on-site yourself or hiring a contractor to assemble it for you. Fox's Sheds professionals can also assemble your shed on-site for an additional charge.
Save On Shipping
The price of shipping a fully assembled shed can be significantly higher than shipping the same shed as a kit. For this reason, you may decide to buy a shed kit and build it yourself on-site. Fox Country Sheds professionals can also assemble your shed on-site for an additional charge.
You're a Handyman (or woman) at Heart
Maybe you would like to build the shed yourself but don't have the time to do all the measuring and cutting. Buying a shed kit that is pre-cut, marked and ready to put together for fast assembly could be the perfect solution! Assembly instructions are included and you'll only need a few basic tools including:
- Hammer (air tools are very handy)
- Tape Measure
- Saw (for very minimal cutting)
- Screw Driver or Drill
To buy your shed as a kit, simply choose the Shed Kit option when you select the options for your shed. :: View Sheds
